Slam Dank Fest Vol.1 featuring the most intense and exciting heavy acts from across South Africa for a weekend that’s all about the music, theenergy, and the community that makes this scene what it is.
This isn’t just a lineup….. it’s a proper gathering of bands and fans who live and breathe heavy music. From Durban to Cape Town, Joburg to Pretoria, we’re bringing it all together in one place: Tweefontein Melkery, right in the heart of Kempton Park.
You’ll hear everything from brutal slam and blackened death to hardcore, groove metal, and progressive madness. Whether you’re here to catch your favourite band, discover something new, or just hang with your people… this weekend is for you.
This is an Homage to the legendary Mudderfudd — the spirit of that community, chaos, and shared love for heavy music lives on right here. If you know, you know. And if you’re new, you’re in for something special!!!

Camping Info
Slam Dank Fest Vol.1 is a camping festival, so come prepared to spend the weekend with us on-site! Whether you’re pitching a tent solo, or rolling in with the whole crew, there’ll be space for everyone. Camping is included with your ticket, and the grounds open from 16:00 on Friday, 01 August, so you can settle in, crack a cold one, and kick things off with some metal karaoke and good vibes.
